  • Dyeing Process:
    • Solid Colors: Natural, eco-friendly dyes are used to color the yarn first. After dyeing, the yarn is set with high-temperature treatment before being woven into ropes.
    • Gradient Colors: Natural, eco-friendly dyes are used to color the yarn after it has been woven into ropes.
  • Rope Oil Ingredients: Jojoba oil or baby oil
  • Softener: Skin-contact softener (commonly used for washing underwear)
  • Wax Block Material: Natural beeswax
  • Packaging: Discreet packaging
  • Processing Procedure: Utilizing traditional Japanese craftsmanship, the process includes material softening, singeing 4-5 times, dust removal, oil application, waxing, cutting, knotting, scenting, and packaging.

 

Our Shibari Jute is the creme de la creme of Japanese jute rope. With a brilliant sheen and a smooth finish, recommended by many famous Tokyo dojos, this rope flies and feels like none other.
These Ropes will still have a bit of scratchiness but will soften quickly with use. Ready to use directly out of the box, we do all the hard work for you. These ropes have been broken and singed, massaged with a light coating of wax and oil, then baked in an oven.
For many people jute rope is the traditional rope for shibari. Our fully-treated jute rope is soft but still retains its bite! It's a good choice for people who fancy a more comfortable style.

          Total Shipping Time

          Our products (except custom orders) are ready to ship within 1-3 business days upon receipt of the order. We use the USPS to ship our products to our customers, so standard shipping (from us to you) is 4-8 business days. Canada shipping will take about 7-11 business days.

           

          Returns

          We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.
          To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

          To start a return, you need to contact us at ropemastercompany@gmail.com. Include your order number and an estimate shipping date in the email.
          Once your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

          Damages and issues
          Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

           

          Exceptions / non-returnable items
          Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

          Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

           

          Exchanges
          The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

           

          European Union 7 day cooling off period
          Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 7 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

           

          Refunds
          We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

          Overall, it's pretty good, just that the black one is a bit stiff. The seller explained that it's due to the dark dye, and they offered to send me a softer one. However, it's not a big deal; I think it will be fine after some use.
